£30,000 - £32,000 per year - Full Time Equivalent (40hrs)
£6,000 - £12,800 per year - Pro-Rated (8-16hrs)
The opportunity
We are recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our Little Hadham practice on a part-time basis, working 8-16 hours per week.
As a Nurse, you will be accountable for the clinical delivery of nurse-led appointments and will be required to support the Vet with procedures as needed, ensuring we deliver exceptional care to our clients, patients, and colleagues while maintaining the highest levels of regulatory and operational standards and compliance.
Role Accountabilities:
Exceptional care is at the heart of everything we do at Medivet. In this role you will:
1. Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
2. Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post-procedure activity.
3. Carry out nurse-led appointments and schedule activities.
4. Deliver patient monitoring and care.
5. Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
6. Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.
7. Dispense and check medication.
8. Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
9. Hold briefings to engage and coordinate your team for the effective running of the practice.
Your Skills and Experience:
1. RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
2. Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.
3. Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
4. Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
5. Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
