As we expand, we are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and versatile individual to join our team as an Operations Assistant. This is a hands-on, part-time role that will support a variety of tasks in both our office and warehouse operations.
Job Description
As our Operations Assistant, you will play an essential role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will cover administrative support, order fulfilment, stock management, and production assistance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks and thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Admin Support: Assist with general office duties, such as answering emails and phone calls.
2. Stock Management: Perform regular stock taking and help maintain an accurate inventory system.
3. Order Fulfilment: Scan, label, and organise orders, ensuring they are ready for the next stage of production or dispatch.
4. Packing Orders: Pack products securely for dispatch, ensuring all orders are correctly labelled and packaged.
5. Mail & Shipping: Print shipping labels, bag items for dispatch, and organise parcels for mail collection.
6. Vinyl Weeding: Assist with weeding vinyl for garment printing, preparing materials for production.
7. General Tidying & Organisation: Keep the office and warehouse areas clean, organised, and efficient.
8. Sorting: Sort products and materials to ensure they are properly categorised and ready for production or dispatch.
Skills & Experience Required:
1. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for accuracy when handling orders, stock, and packing.
2. Organisational Skills: Ability to stay organised, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
3. Reliability & Punctuality: Consistently dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to the role.
4. Team Player: Able to work collaboratively with colleagues in a small but dynamic team.
5. Manual Dexterity: Comfortable with tasks such as vinyl weeding, packing, and handling products.
6. Experience (Desirable but Not Essential): Previous experience in an admin, warehouse, or production role is a plus, but full training will be provided.
