Futuresource is seeking a Lead Analyst to join its Personal Electronics team. The Company is an established research and insight firm, with a well-established reputation for thought leadership, proprietary data and strong client support across consumer technology and entertainment. Headquartered in London with locations across North America and Asia, its client base extends across leading media companies, tech giants, CE vendors, investment banks and the world’s leading consulting firms.
Your skills will be founded on a proven ability to employ a range of analytical skills, utilise research methodologies that are fit for task and develop critical insight and robust market expectations for a senior and varied audience.
Responsibilities
* Build and retain own industry research network, in addition to maintaining Futuresource's existing contacts
* Contribute to Futuresource's stance on new sectors/products/technology, providing structured opinion based on data and fact
* Deliver strategic and actionable insight through reports and presentations to an extensive client base
* Provide ongoing proactive support to Futuresource's business development function
* Manage the quality & consistency of analysis, insight and forecasting across all vertical sectors.
* Represent Futuresource at external events as an active participant including conference presentations.
* Provide consultative sell at C-level, identifying opportunities for custom consulting opportunities
* Contribute to the strategic direction of Futuresource's service and product roadmap at a vertical level
Skills
* Relevant industry experience in a business insights / industry analyst role with exposure to multiple research methodologies.
* Comprehensive knowledge of market research principles and practices with demonstrated capabilities in both qualitative and quantitative research
* Strong analytical capabilities, ability to interpret and draw industry relevant insight from multiple primary research sources.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the capability to interact across all levels (internal & external) and support decision-making
* Excellent multitasking capabilities and the ability to work and manage a cross-function team effectively in an environment of tight deadlines and constant change
* Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy, consistency, and quality
* Track record of identifying and driving new revenue streams through innovative product and service development.
