Join us for 38 hours a week, 39 weeks a year (9am to 4.36pm Monday to Friday), in a dynamic role that takes you out into the community with our learners. Every day is unique and rewarding, filled with engaging activities.
No experience needed, we will train you! Just bring your enthusiasm and fun personality. Our young people need a bold, charismatic role model to inspire them. While some days can be challenging, the rewards are immense.
If you are passionate about motivating young individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism, this job is for you. You'll work from 9 am to 4:00 pm.
A UK manual driving license is essential for regular travel. Join us and make a real difference in a dynamic, enriching role!
You will work in the community, providing personalised education programs and helping learners develop practical skills like using public transport, ICT, cooking, and money management. You may also accompany them to work experience or college.
Each day is an adventure, full of challenges and rewards.
No Limits supports post-16 learners with special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and communication difficulties, often with challenging behaviours.

About You
Experience is not essential. For us, underlying ability and attitude are just as important as background and experience.
If you have not worked in the field of education before, then please don’t be put off. We can provide all of the specialist training you need, but we can't train you to have initiative, to be friendly and patient, and those are essential qualities for this work.
You must be a driver with your own transport, willing and able to travel across the area, supporting young people from their own homes. Reasonable mileage is reimbursed.
GCSEs (or equivalent) minimum C grade in English and Mathematics are essential.
Some more things you need to know:
* Most of your work will be during term-time but there is up to three weeks' training and development commitment during academic holidays.
* Some young people require assistance with personal care or medication.
* They may, if feeling particularly anxious, show behaviour that can be challenging.
About Us
MacIntyre is a national charity which supports over 1,200 people with a learning disability and/or autism.

No Limits is our further education division, providing bespoke education programmes to children and young people for whom more traditional learning environments are not appropriate.
Training and Development
At Macintyre we fully support your training and development. We know it can be daunting to start a new job, and not everyone learns the same way, so throughout your probation we will provide you with a mixture of eLearning, face-to-face training, and mentoring support whilst on the job.
