Liaising with the Resident and the Care Team about activities that Residents can participate in. Consulting with Residents about interests and preferences for outings, entertainment, and social events. Organising and co-ordinating celebrations Assisting with any other tasks as requested Requirements for the Day Trip Carer role: Enthusiastic, organised and creative individuals to work as a member of our friendly team delivering high standards of activities to our residents. Previous experience in the role would be an advantage Although we will consider applicants without qualifications or experience, the following would be an advantage: Experience of working with the elderly, preferably in a care home environment. Health and Social Care qualification PSV licence holder PAY: As an employee over age 21 you will earn 12.10 per hour with 10% enhancement at weekends and 50% extra on Bank Holidays. If under age 21 the hourly rate is 11.00. Hours: 24 per week Successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
