We are looking for a project manager (CONTRACT) to work on our most established event (conference & exhibition); The successful candidate should have:
* 5 years experience running conferences and exhibitions
* Be energetic, confident and result-driven
* Show initiative and be able to multitask
* Strong people skills and network builder
* Be able to work and present at senior level committees
* Have a valid passport and be willing to travel to Saudi Arabia for site visits and to deliver the project.
Duties:
* Full project management, working closely and as a team with head of marketing, MD and committee
* Manage and update event budget
* Main point of contact for contractors and committee members
* Attend conference calls with event committees
* Manage and update event timeline
* Source required vendors and negotiate contracts
* Main point of contact for event venue
* Manage production requirements with production company
* Manage the signage requirements, design and production
* Manage the design and delivery of digital event program/catalogue with event team and designer
* Update event app on a weekly basis
* Update registration site with group bookings
* Oversee opening ceremony logistics
* Manage gala dinner logistics, including venue liaison, florists, and other suppliers
* Manage VIP seating arrangement
* Manage all catering requirements (coffee breaks and lunches at the event)
* Ensure all local health and safety protocols are met
* Brief and manage temp staff/volunteers onsite
* Onsite attendance and main responsibility for general logistics of the event build and breakdown

Number of days required: 40 to 50 depending on project
