WeDoData are working with a reputable, high performing secondary school & sixth form in Bath who are looking to appoint an Administrative Officer and First Aid Lead.
The team are seeking someone on a permanent basis, though we would also love to hear from you if you are seeking a short-term contract to cover the interim (1-3 months depending). This position is being offered term time only (TTO) plus INSET days, on a full- OR part-time basis (ranging between 32.5 and 37 hours/week).

The postholder will report directly to the Office Manager. This is an admin role with the responsibility of leading on medical support and first aid for students, staff and visitors in the event of illness or incident. The postholder will be passionate about supporting students with different medical conditions to help ensure they are safe in school and their medical needs are met.
Responsibilities will include:
* Being the first point of contact in respect to administering first aid, and the named responsible officer for all first aid matters
* Support other first aiders in the school
* Health and safety compliance of the Medical room
* Liaising with the catering team regarding student dietary requirements (allergies, intolerances, etc.)
* Administration of student medication
Successful candidates should have:
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
* Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
* Strong IT skills with experience using spreadsheets
* First Aid qualification (or willing to achieve within post)
* Experience working with children and families (or a keenness to do so)
* Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures
* Knowledge of confidentiality
