A maintenance engineer will provide technical advice to the maintenance team and contribute to day-to-day decisions to effectively run the manufacturing site.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Provide technical advice to the maintenance team to ensure plant and equipment is maintained to the highest standards.
* Install root cause analysis techniques to breakdowns and implement corrective action plans.
* Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are current, technically correct, and up to date.
* Ensure regulatory and audit requirements are met.
* Ensure compliance to Health, Safety and Environmental regulations and policies.
* Establish service contracts and service level agreements for systems.
* Manage third party contractors ensuring risk assessments and method statements are provided prior to work commencement.
Essential Criteria:
* Qualified in an engineering discipline (B-TEC or higher).
* 3+ years post apprenticeship experience or 1 year post graduate experience.
Desirable Criteria:
* 3rd level qualification in a related technical discipline.
* IOSH or NEBOSH qualified or working towards.
