Sketchley School (Forest House) are looking to recruit an outstanding Teacher to join our Teaching team We are looking for an ambitious, energetic and committed teacher who will expand the learning experiences of our pupils. The successful candidate will be teaching and supporting our young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD and associated complex needs. As a Science teacher at Sketchley School (Forest House) you ll be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.You ll play a pivotal role in fostering curiosity and a love for Science, helping students achieve their full potential in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The role will require you to teach across a range of qualifications including Entry level up to GCSE level. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of all learners. Inspire and challenge students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring that every child has the support they need to succeed. Collaborate with a supportive Science department across the company cluster to share resources and best practices. Contribute to extracurricular Science activities, such as STEM clubs, competitions, or trips, to enhance students learning experiences. What We re Looking For: Full Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Strong subject knowledge across all areas of Science, with a passion for at least one specialization. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment. A proactive, creative approach to teaching, with a commitment to driving student progress.
