ABOUT THE ROLE Working with our Senior Technicians, you will assist with the day-to-day operation of our wood and metal and workshops. You will operate a variety of traditional machine and hand tools to support users in creating their projects. This role will allow you to use your enthusiasm and creativity to assist our users in their research and study. ABOUT THE TEAM The MCE/ABE technical team are responsible for to day-to-day operation and safety of a range of laboratories, workshops and studios in the Faculty of Engineering and Environment. They work closely with academic colleagues to provide and excellent student experience through their support of teaching and research activity. ABOUT YOU To be successful in the role you will have an excellent theoretical and practical knowledge of manufacturing engineering and a working knowledge of CAD equipment and processes. You will be a good collaborator and can work effectively as a member of a large team.
