Technical Analyst
Role Overview: This position involves supporting and developing voice and data networks, as well as security and server infrastructure. You'll provide third-level support and maintenance for the IT Service Desk across multiple regional locations, ensuring infrastructure reliability and adherence to service levels. The role includes incident resolution, troubleshooting, and compliance with ITIL best practices, alongside the refinement and development of security policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and support key business systems, including servers and storage networks.
* Oversee around 100 server-based systems, from design to decommissioning.
* Monitor and optimise server and network performance.
* Train staff on new system implementations.
* Manage domain security policies and endpoint security solutions.
* Act as a technical lead on projects, liaise with third-party suppliers, and provide technical training.
* Ensure data center operations comply with Health and Safety regulations.
Core Capabilities:
* Essential Experience: Proven experience in a multi-site ICT environment.
* Qualifications: Minimum of HNC/HND in IT or a related field or Cisco Certification.
* Desirable: Microsoft Certification with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
