About the Role
This position involves overseeing the maintenance of our care home environment to ensure it is clean and well-maintained, allowing residents to feel at home and staff to perform their jobs effectively. Your Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Department Head, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including property maintenance, gardening, and ground work. You will work independently, lead a team, and support the General Manager with annual budget planning. You will also liaise with contractors for jobs that require external expertise.
About You
As a key member of our team, your primary concern will be the wellbeing of our residents. You will have hands-on experience in property maintenance, at least one trade skill, and ideally, the ability to undertake a variety of maintenance tasks. You should be reliable, flexible in your working hours, and possess a full UK driving licence, IT literacy, and GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent).
