The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Hospitality and PSHE to join our committed team from January 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to combine practical and life skills education, empowering students to succeed both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Hospitality, developing students' practical cooking and hospitality skills.
Teach PSHE (Personal, Social, Health, and Economic education), promoting personal development and well-being.
Inspire and motivate students to develop confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Contribute to the wider school community and support extracurricular initiatives.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Subject expertise in Hospitality and experience teaching PSHE (or willingness to develop in this area).
A passion for engaging students and helping them develop essential life and vocational skills.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
The ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to the school ethos.
