We have exclusively partnered with a high growth Mining business to assist with their search for a part time interim Systems Accountant. This role will focus on the implementation and optimisation of IBM TM1 and Cognos Controller, ensuring that our financial systems effectively support our reporting, planning, and analysis needs. This is is a part time role (2-3 days per week). There's flexibility to work remote with some travel to their London office as required. The Role: System Implementation: Lead the implementation of TM1 and Cognos Controller, collaborating with IT, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with existing systems. Data Migration: Manage data migration processes, ensuring accurate and complete transfer of financial data from legacy systems to TM1 and Cognos Controller. User Training: Provide training and support to finance team members and end-users on TM1 and Cognos Controller functionalities, promoting best practices for data entry and reporting. System Maintenance: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates to ensure ongoing efficiency and effectiveness of financial systems. Reporting & Analysis: Collaborate with the finance team to design and produce comprehensive financial reports and dashboards using Cognos Controller, aiding in decision-making processes. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within financial reporting and analysis work flows. Compliance & Controls: Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards during system implementation and ongoing operations.
