Job Title: AHU Commissioning Engineer
We are seeking a skilled professional to commission, service and maintain Air Handling Units and other associated equipment in accordance with specified codes of practice.
Main Responsibilities:
* To attend sites as directed by the service controller to provide technical assistance and engineering duties, ensuring a positive customer experience.
* To carry out plant commissioning as contracted to the company.
* To produce weekly reports and timesheets, providing necessary details for administrative staff to collate records, prepare invoices and manage the business effectively.
* To conduct risk assessments on site to achieve compliance with health, safety and environmental duties.
* To identify opportunities to add value to clients through additional services and report such opportunities to line managers.
* To assist in local sales activities by submitting sales leads to the sales team.
* To participate in meetings, briefings and training courses as part of the company's communications and development processes.
About You:
* Full UK driving license with no more than 6 points and no pending cases.
* Enhanced DBS checks with satisfactory results for work involving entry to schools, hospitals and restricted establishments.
* Electrical qualifications beneficial for the role.
* F-Gas certification or City and Guilds 2079/NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning advantageous.
* Excellent fault diagnosis and commissioning skills for AHUs and air-conditioning equipment.
* IT skills required, including Microsoft package: Word & Excel, database, email etc.
* Able to work alone and as part of a team.
* Extensive experience in AHU commissioning.
* Geographical knowledge of the operating area.
* Role involves lifting, loading, driving long distances and working at height/ confined spaces when required.
