Unqualified Learning Support Assistant for SEN

The Headteacher is keen to hire an Unqualified Learning Support Assistant for SEN to support young people with additional needs including ASD, ADHD, SpLD, SEMH needs and more.
This role involves supporting pupils with SEND/SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small group basis, as well as assisting class teachers with delivering core subject material such as Maths, English, and Science. This is the ideal role for those looking to pursue a career in education, psychology, sociology, social work, mental health support work, and more!
Job Description
1. Working in a 'Good' Secondary School
2. Based in Hall Green, Birmingham
3. Supporting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
4. ASAP start, 8.30am - 4pm, Monday - Friday only
5. Term-Time, Long-Term and Full-Time position
6. £105 - £110 per day
7. Working across KS3, KS4, and KS5
8. Monitoring the progress of pupils and assisting children of various ages and abilities
The Ideal Candidate
1. A graduate with strong academics across the board - GCSEs, A-Levels, and Degree
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Previous school-based experience working with students with SEND
4. A drive to inspire the younger generation and make a difference
