Make a difference at Maltings Academy as a Teaching Assistant!
Are you passionate about helping every child achieve their potential? We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Maltings Academy. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work in partnership with teachers to improve the learning and attainment of our students, promoting their independence and social inclusion.
What you'll do:
* Support students' learning needs, including specific SEND needs, to help them access lesson content and achieve learning objectives.
* Help students develop independent learning skills.
* Deliver targeted interventions in partnership with teachers.
* Promote positive behaviours and support students' wellbeing.

All new Teaching Assistants working 20 hours or more per week on a permanent contract will be automatically enrolled on a Level 3 Teaching Assistant apprenticeship if they do not already hold this qualification. About Maltings Academy
Maltings is an 11-16 academy based in Witham, Essex. Situated between the cities of Chelmsford and Colchester, the academy has 900 students on roll and benefits from a purpose-built building that was constructed in 2011. There are excellent transport links to London which enables our staff and young people to take full advantage of the wealth of opportunities that London provides.
