Role Overview: As a Healthcare Assistant (HCA), you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality personal care to our elderly residents, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring their emotional and physical well-being. You will work closely with the care team, supporting residents with their daily needs, promoting dignity and independence, and maintaining a positive atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Provide personal care for residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility. Support residents with medication management, as directed by senior staff. Assist with recreational activities and social engagement to promote mental and physical well-being. Maintain accurate records of care delivered, observing and reporting any changes in residents’ health or behavior. Work as part of a dedicated team to ensure high standards of care are consistently delivered. Foster an environment of kindness, respect, and dignity for all residents. Skills and Experience Required: Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in elderly care A caring, compassionate, and patient approach to supporting elderly people. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Ability to follow care plans and work independently when required.
