Gleeson Recruitment Group have partnered with a manufacturing company based in Wednesbury, seeking a dedicated and organised Accounts Assistant to join their small, friendly team of four. Paying up to 30,000 per annum.
About the Role
As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of the finance department. Your responsibilities will include a mix of Accounts Payable and Receivable duties, providing comprehensive support to the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Processing invoices and purchase orders
2. Supplier and customer account reconciliations
3. Assisting with cash flow management
4. Maintaining accurate financial records
5. General administrative tasks as required
About You
We are looking for a motivated individual with strong attention to detail and a good understanding of accounting principles. You should be proficient in using accounting software and have excellent organisational skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable
2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills
