Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Secondary SEN Tutor to join our team in Reading, Berkshire. As a Secondary SEN Tutor, you will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to secondary school students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your role will involve delivering personalised tutoring sessions, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles, and tracking student progress effectively.
Job Duties:
* Plan and deliver engaging tutoring sessions for secondary school students with SEN
* Assess students' learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly
* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
* Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
Required Qualifications:
* Relevant qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Experience working with secondary school students with SEN
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Experience:
Experience working with secondary school students with SEN
Knowledge and Skills:
* Demonstrated understanding of SEN principles and best practises
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Additional qualifications in Education or relevant field
* Experience in creating individual learning plans
Working Conditions:
This role is based in Reading, Berkshire, and involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The working environment will be within a secondary school setting, collaborating closely with students, teachers, and other professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
