Context
The Supply Optimisation team consists of 5 Project Managers who support the development of packaging materials, ensuring continuity of supply and working closely with Packaging Development Leads to onboard new suppliers. Examples of projects include business continuity changes, new supplier qualifications, and material quality improvements. This role is responsible for delivering projects across glass, PET, closures, corrugate, and labels.
We are offering a contractor position for someone looking to develop their skills in project management and technical material change projects, with support from key individuals in the Packaging Development Team and a clear set of objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
* Provide leadership to support the delivery of supply-driven projects.
* Lead a cross-functional team to deliver projects resulting from changes within our supply chain.
* Provide supply input and commercial grounding during project development phases, managing project communications.
* Apply strong project management skills to develop and manage project timelines, address challenges, and ensure risk profiles are developed.
* Bring creative solutions to commercialization challenges.
* Ensure projects are managed using Diageo's standard commercialization process.
* Build great relationships and communicate clearly within the project team and with external partners.
* Ensure project management roles and responsibilities are clear and that all cross-functional partners are engaged.
Qualifications and Experience
* Significant experience in project management, packaging, or related field.
* Experience in Packaging Development, Cross-Functional Collaboration, and Clear Communication.
* Ability to collaborate with key partners to ensure packaging support is understood.
* Experience leading in a regional, international, or global environment.
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills across different cultures.
* Ability to influence, persuade, and build consensus.
* Able to resolve conflicts.
