As a Product Development Analyst, you’ll collaborate with product owners and the technology team to drive continuous improvement of both internal and external digital platforms. You’ll play a key role in gathering requirements, analysing current business processes, and helping to design solutions that meet the needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to understand and document current processes, identifying areas for improvement and providing solutions.
* Requirement gathering: Through collaboration, capture, priorities, and refine requirements to support ongoing delivery through agile development processes.
* Project team support: Act as a key member of project teams, driving technology improvement initiatives across the business.
* Team meetings: Organise and participate in regular meetings to shape and manage your team’s backlog of work items.
* User story creation: Write clear user stories, including specifying requirements and acceptance criteria (training and support provided).
* User experience collaboration: Partner with product insights specialists, UX designers, and UI designers to create seamless and engaging user experiences through wireframes, mock-ups, or prototypes.
* Issue resolution: Collaborate with stakeholders to address, document, and resolve live issues or defects.
* Team player: Contribute to the performance and success of the Product team.
What you'll need to succeed
As a Product Development Analyst, you’ll be driven, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results. You’ll have a deep understanding of the products and services offered by Good Energy and can confidently prioritise tasks based on their value to the business. Your proactive, solution-focused mindset allows you to navigate challenges and facilitate key conversations at the right moments.
Essential:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to engage with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external.
* A “can-do” attitude, eager to problem-solve and facilitate the right conversations at the right time.
* Highly organized and proactive with exceptional attention to detail.
* Comfortable with continuously learning new skills, tools, and techniques to stay ahead of industry trends.
Desirable:
* Experience building business process maps (preferably with Microsoft Visio).
* Familiarity with Good Energy’s current systems and core business processes.
* Experience in testing new systems, processes, and reports.
* Comfortable working with data and a curiosity to explore how Good Energy can better utilize its data for innovative solutions.
