Key Responsibilities: Representing as the lead advisor on public transport matters in meetings with internal and external stakeholders Liaising with the West of England Combined Authority to support high-level plans and initiatives to enhance public transport provision in accordance with the Local Transport Plan and Bus Strategy Collaborating with bus operators and external partners to ensure effective delivery of transport services to all community sectors to foster increased public transport usage Supporting the negotiation of public transport contributions from new developments for bus services and/or infrastructure Developing and securing support for proposals to improve public transport offerings and drafting and presenting reports to inform decision-making Job Requirements: Experience in transportation management or a related field Strong understanding of public transport dynamics and stakeholder management Proficiency in developing and implementing transport strategies Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including government bodies, bus operators, and the community Strong organisational and project management skills If you are a transport professional with a passion for improving public transport systems and thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you.
