Job Description:
Our client is looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to support the business's growth. For this role, you will require exceptional technical support abilities, be customer-focused, work well in a tight-knit team, and have an eagerness for learning new technical skills and disciplines.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Technical diagnostics, resolving both software and hardware issues efficiently and to a great standard.
* Microsoft 365 diagnostics and administration, supporting Microsoft Office, Exchange, OneDrive, and keeping to security best practices.
* Windows Server 2016 – 2022 Support including Active Directory and Group Policy.
* Virtualization technology including VMWare and Hyper-V.
* Monitoring, administration, and support of network technologies including firewalls, routers, switches, VLANs, and VPNs.
* Supporting users via remote desktop, RDP, Citrix, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
* CompTIA A+ / Network+ qualifications or equivalent experience.
* MS MCP/MCSA in relevant technologies.
* ITIL Foundation Certificate.
* Cisco CCNA or equivalent networking certifications.
