What you will do: - Lead and support a team of seven social workers who manage cases for children on Child Protection and Child in Need plans, as well as those in the care of the local authority. - Provide supervision and strategic direction to ensure that children are safeguarded effectively. - Undertake strategy meetings with police and other professionals, guiding the team through complex case procedures and overseeing court proceedings. - Manage and address all team complaints, capabilities, and sickness procedures efficiently. - Assist new social workers in completing their NQSW portfolio information and oversee complex cases, including care proceedings.
