We are seeking another experienced technical support engineer or service engineer with a background in customer support to join our clients expanding sales support team in Chichester.
The business is expanding and therefore they seek a graduate with 1+ years experience in a similar role, or an internal support engineer who has spent time working in a similar role but without the degree.
It is essential that the candidate is familiar and technically confident discussing all things electronics as this is a support role dealing with external customers and sales engineers.
Responsibilities
1. Support the Sales Engineers to win customers.
2. Maintain strong local technical competency.
3. Assist Sales Engineers in technical matters.
4. Advise the correct technical solutions for customers and provide the best possible service in a timely manner.
5. Ensure efficient and correct use of our CRM and Microsoft ERP systems in line with corporate guidelines.
Relationships and Roles
1. Responsible for all internal procedures connected to customer orders and delivery.
2. Assist General Sales Manager with product launches.
3. Assist General Sales Manager in pro-active analysis of lost customers.
4. Assist General Sales Manager in marketing activities.
Job Specifications
1. Relevant experience in a technical sales environment.
2. Experience with our CRM/ERP system.
3. Market and customer oriented.
4. Willingness to be part of a global team.
5. Strong understanding of process and/or factory automation.
6. Fluent in English and local language.
