Are you a Project Manager with experience in FMCG or manufacturing looking for a new role where you will play a key role in the optimisation and continuous improvements of a global brand? On offer is an extremely varied role, you will be responsible for projects from cradle to grave. You will attend client meetings, complete site surveys, negotiate with suppliers, organise subcontractors and more.

This role would suit a project manager with an FMCG or manufacturing background that is looking for a stable and interesting role.
The Role:
1. Develop comprehensive project plans to ensure successful execution, delivering projects on time and within budget.
2. Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operations.
3. Create a framework to achieve manufacturing excellence by improving packaging line efficiency and ensuring projects comply with health and safety regulations.
4. Maintain a well-organized project database, capturing all project data and documenting decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Lead and facilitate LEAN process improvement workshops to encourage idea generation and innovative solutions.
6. Support the business by eliminating non-value-added tasks, streamlining operations, and identifying more effective working methods.
7. Oversee change programs, focusing on efficiency improvements while adhering to internal controls and governance standards.
8. Monitor project risks, proactively identifying potential issues and implementing strategies to mitigate them.
9. Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess project success, incorporating learnings into future projects for improved outcomes.
10. Ensure interconnected projects and associated risks are identified, escalated, and managed appropriately.
11. Manage budgetary controls for packaging operations, leveraging data to optimize manufacturing costs and drive efficiency.
The Person:
1. Proven experience as a project engineer
2. Experience in FMCG or manufacturing industries
