Role Overview The Food & Beverage Supervisor is a very important role at LaplandUK and it is great opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join a friendly team in a fast paced and collaborative environment. Based at our Ascot event site, the Food and Beverage Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the experience to ensure that the Food and Beverage outlets are fully staffed, stocked and that the teams are fully briefed and trained in their roles. Responsibilities Event Operations Supervising a team of Front of House (FOH) staff, giving direction and delegating tasks to the team to ensure exceptional customer service. Ensure all outlets are set-up or closing duties at the beginning/end of daily operations are complete. Ensuring that we create and then maintain a clean and safe working environment for our team and customers. Understanding of allergens, the process of relaying the information to our guests and ensuring that staff are fully aware and compliant with the process. Be knowledgeable to answer queries regarding food and beverage choices around product knowledge and allergens. Guest Experience Ensure guest expectations are consistently met and exceeded through warm and welcoming service delivery. Following the LaplandUK operating procedures and sequence of service. HR Train team members to ensure service and quality standards are consistently met. Maintain and improve the morale of FOH staff during the event. Loss Prevention Ensure any stock movements are properly recorded and stock wastage is minimised and properly accounted for alongside the Duty Manager. Compliance Ensure company policies, procedures and brand standards are understood and adhered to. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Previous experience in a supervisory role within Food and Beverage environment. Lead by example as a strong operational, hands on, role model. Bright and articulate, with the ability to influence and engage other members of the team. Excellent verbal communication skills.
