Overview:
The Senior Marketing Expert – Global Internal Communications and Engagement Lead will act as the FNZ subject matter expert in Internal Communications for FNZ and de facto Head of Internal Communications for the business.
This role compromises leading and coordinating the delivery of high impact, creative internal communications campaigns linked to FNZ’s global strategy, that inspire and excite our 6,000 people around the world.
The Senior Marketing Expert – Global Internal Communications and Engagement Lead will also support the Chief Marketing Officer by inspiring our global leaders with FNZ’s purpose, vision, values and strategy; connecting them with our financial and non-financial priorities; and supporting them to engage their teams.
Additional ownership and expertise:
* Define and own the Internal Communications and Engagement strategy for FNZ.
* Own and manage all key internal communication channels, reviewing performance and amending / implementing new channels if required (Viva Engage, Newsroom, News Flash, Manager Moment).
* Oversee and support multiple programme teams of up to seven colleagues, ensuring delivery of creative, impactful, flawless global internal communications campaigns that improve our people's understanding of our global strategy and priorities.
* Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer, acting as a subject matter expert in Internal Communications and Engagement as required.
* Create engaging impactful communications, using a range of channels, that proactively raise the profile of the ELT, and colleague trust in this group.
* Work interdependently with colleagues from across the Marketing team and Executives, Directors, and Senior Leaders in our main geographies – playing both the role of communications co-ordinator (when required) and expert internal communications consultant.
* Work closely with Head of External Communications to ensure coordination of content for both internal and external audiences.
* Work with the People team to build global leaders' communication and engagement capability, providing them with tools and content to engage their teams.
* Act as a key partner and resource as we continue to build and strengthen FNZ’s employer brand awareness, positioning us as an employer of choice, and attracting the best talent.
* Deliver internal communications to support organisational change (ranging from senior people changes to operating models), M&A and ad hoc issues/projects.
* Embed best-in-class internal communications standards, engagement techniques and measurement.
* Leverage industry and local market relationships to ensure best in class communications for FNZ.
Who are we looking for:
* A bachelor’s or master’s Degree, preferably with specialization in marketing, communication, human resources, or similar.
* Recognised and demonstrable excellence in internal communications and employee engagement, within a large global organisation.
* Operates at the most senior levels of a large, global organisation, with minimum supervision.
* Experience operating in complex matrix and multi-national environments, shaping and leading organisational change, understanding complex communication issues and recognising business wide implications.
* Proven track record of delivery through direct and in-direct (influencing) people management.
* Meticulous planner with ability to manage an unpredictable workload to meet changing requirements. Able to switch confidently and knowledgeably between priorities.
* Commercial mindset, ensuring that agenda is positioned within the broader business and wider industry/economic context.
* Resilient and calm. Able to lead and deliver in high-pressure, unpredictable environment working to tight, often conflicting deadlines, and within resource constraints.
* Excellent speaking/presentation, writing and editing skills, able to coach and motivate as well as personally execute.
* Well-versed in crisis communications with a solid understanding of a broad spectrum of employee communication channels.
