Induction Training
We are looking for people with Be Caring values to join our team. For this role you do not need care experience, we recognise you will have many transferable skills from previous roles, for example as a shop assistant. We will provide you with the training you need to be an outstanding Care Assistant.
As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, you will be provided with comprehensive induction training on:

If you are the kind of person that can make people smile while visiting them in their home, then a Care Assistant with Be Caring could be the right fit for you. You do not need a degree or care qualifications to be a Care Assistant, but you will need the right values. Each day is varied, and you will need to have a can-do attitude.
Pay: £12.30 p/hr (drivers) / £11.50 p/hr (walkers) (paid per shifts not per call, travel time included)
Drivers may be required to cover all areas including Fawdon, Gosforth, Kenton, Heaton and Dinnington.
Mileage - 45p per mile for drivers / 20p per mile for cyclists

As a Community Care Worker for Be Caring, your working hours will be aligned to our shift patterns, which for this role include late shift working and alternate weekends.
Early Shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm
Late shift: 3:00pm - 10:00pm (finish time depends on public transport times)
As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, we will agree your working pattern, setting 2-week rota which includes:
Alternate full weekends.
Evenings as agreed within your working hours.
