Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Band 3 Physiotherapy Clinical Support Worker in the inpatient rehabilitation service at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering rehabilitation to older people and neurological patients in the acute setting. This role will suit someone who is motivated, flexible and hard-working, and keen to support patients to achieve their potential in rehabilitation. The role is part of a well-established and supportive therapy team. Previous experience of working as a physiotherapy assistant is desirable. Having good communication and team-working skills is essential. The post involves weekend working as part of the therapy weekend service. Main duties of the job To support qualified Physiotherapy (PT) staff by implementing and undertaking designated patient assessment and treatment programmes. To document, evaluate and feedback to qualified PT following all interventions To support the Physiotherapy team in non-clinical tasks.
