Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable adults in our community? Do you have the skills and experience to deliver high-quality social care services, working flexibly to support people to develop and maintain their independence, promote their wellbeing, and achieve great outcomes? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for this role.
As a Social Care Worker, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support adults across Knowsley. The focus is on provision for people with complex needs including learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, and physical disabilities. The service is delivered in a range of settings including supported living, respite, and day services.
This varied and rewarding role will involve providing person-centred and bespoke care and support, assisting people to engage in opportunities that are meaningful to them, which includes providing dignified personal care.
You will be required to work flexibly across any of the Adult Provider Services throughout the borough, and the role can involve any of the following: shift work, waking nights, weekends, and bank holidays. In some parts of the service, you may be required to work alone.
You will join a friendly team where training and ongoing support is provided.
The post is subject to enhanced hours and sleep-in payments. An enhanced DBS check will also be undertaken.
