Part time - Up to two days per week (9.75 hours / 0.4 FTE)
Godalming College in Surrey is one of the best sixth form colleges in the country. It was inspected in November 2024 and once again was rated as outstanding. With high quality teaching and learning at the heart of our student experience, we consistently achieve impressive results. Our campus provides attractive and stimulating spaces in which to work and study reflecting our lively, vibrant ethos.
The College is looking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic, and passionate part time teacher to work in the Music department on a part-time basis from the start of the academic year 2025/26. Applicants will need to be enthusiastic and committed teachers who are aware of and sympathetic to the needs of 16-19-year- olds. Applications from recently qualified entrants to the profession would also be encouraged.
As well as our academic success we are also proud of the welcoming and collaborative environment at the College and a few comments from our Autumn 2024 staff survey show that our staff feel the same.
‘The sense of community, common purpose, and kindness to each other. The willingness to help each other, support each other and look after each other. We are proud to be continually improving - which is a signature of Godalming College.’
‘Working every day supporting amazing young people, having kind and compassionate colleagues and making progress and learning for my own professional development.’
