We are currently working with a nursery who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Early Years Practitioner to join their team in the Baby Room. They pride themselves on providing exceptional care and education for children, and are looking for an individual who shares their commitment to high standards and nurturing the development of young minds.
Role: Senior Early Years Practitioner – Baby Room
Hours: 7:45 AM – 6:00 PM, 4 days per week (with one day off per week or 9 days every two weeks)
Location: Muswell Hill
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per year, depending on experience
Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 qualified (Early Years Education or equivalent)
Key Responsibilities:
Leading a small group of 6 babies, working closely alongside a fellow practitioner to provide excellent care and support for children's individual needs.
Promoting a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment for babies aged 0-2.
Encouraging children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through tailored activities and responsive care.
Managing routines, ensuring hygiene and safety standards are maintained at all times.
Engaging in regular communication with parents and carers about their child's progress and wellbeing.
Working as part of a highly-qualified and supportive team to provide the best possible care and education for every child.
Contributing to the development of the nursery and supporting its ethos.

Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
Previous experience working in a childcare setting, ideally with babies.
A strong passion for supporting the development of young children.
A proactive, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach to your role.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
