The Role:
This is a marketing-focused role with a strong emphasis on driving brand growth and visibility across both domestic and international markets.
Your Duties Include:
* Create the Joint Business Plan and then manage all the all the associated admin that comes with each marketing event.
* Liaise between Superdrug and the business content creation department, in order to get in-store and online marketing activation's organised.
* Manage the marketing budget and the account profitability.
* Identify and support in the opening of new retail accounts. They would then go on to manage these accounts.
* Provide admin support to some overseas accounts.
Marketing Responsibilities
* Develop and oversee marketing strategies to support the UK market and export team.
* Support in the creation and maintain of brand decks and presentations for retailers and export partners.
* Manage content creation, including briefs for photography, videos, and other marketing materials, working closely with internal and external teams.
* Collaborate with the export team to align overseas marketing initiatives with the brand strategy.
* Oversee the planning and execution of digital campaigns and in-store activation's.
* Analyse the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies to maximise ROI.
UK Account Management Responsibilities
* Implement a major UK retail chain:
o Assist the development and execution of the Joint Business Plan.
o Collaborate with the retailer to create and implement tailored marketing strategies that drive sales and brand visibility.
* Develop new retail partnerships:
o Identify and approach potential retail partners to expand the UK market.
o Build and nurture strong relationships with retail stakeholders.
Export Sales Support
* Assist the Sales Team with administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations.
* Prepare and update stock and sales reports for internal and customer use.
* Respond promptly to requests for information from international customers.
* Support the on-boarding of new customers.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all export sales processes are efficient and customer-focused.
Experience Required:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing support, sales support, or account management within the FMCG or retail sector.
* Hands-on experience managing or working within retail accounts and developing customer relationships.
* Advanced working knowledge of CRM software such as Pipedrive, Salesforce, or equivalent.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and analyse detailed spreadsheets.
* Experience using tools for marketing content management (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent).
