As our Senior Resuscitation Officer you will Lead, Co-ordinate and Supervise the Resuscitation Service. The role includes the provision of expert knowledge in relation to resuscitation services, policy development, standardisation of resuscitation equipment, co-ordination of resuscitation audit, clinical support of the resuscitation teams and resuscitation training for all grades/disciplines of clinical staff in basic and advanced life support (adult, paediatric). Main duties of the job As the lead for resuscitation you should be able to demonstrate evidence of past professional leadership, ideally with some experience of successful management of change implementation. Significant acute adult post-registration experience at Band 6 or above is essential for the requirements of this post. You will be responsible for managing and developing the Resuscitation Officers within the team and work closely with the Head of Practice Education & Development and key people within the clinical divisions to ensure departmental and Trust objectives for resuscitation are met. You must have a thorough working knowledge of the current Resuscitation Council UK guidelines and will be a UK Registered RN or AHP with recent experience in an acute setting or working as a Resuscitation Officer. You will be working with clinicians and staff at all levels and as such should demonstrate an exemplary standard of personal conduct and behaviour. You must be enthusiastic, highly motivated, confident, flexible and demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills alongside the ability to effectively influence and negotiate.
