Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Religious Education.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes respect and understanding of different religious beliefs and cultures.
* Assess students' academic progress regularly and provide constructive feedback on their work.
* Develop and implement differentiated teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive curriculum that meets the requirements of the national curriculum.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, achievements, and behavior.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and any concerns that may arise.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching Religious Education at the primary or secondary level.
* Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
* Strong understanding of religious beliefs and practices across various faiths.
* Ability to create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse student needs.
* Effective classroom management skills.
* Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written.
