About the Role
We are seeking a talented and ambitious Social & Community Executive to join our growing team. Here’s what you’ll be working on.
* Executing social media marketing campaigns. Helping to plan content, taking ownership of the social media content calendar, and keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and industry news.
* Nurturing the Borough Broth community. You’ll be responsible for answering community questions across our shared email inbox, reviews platform, and all our social media channels, as well as engaging with relevant conversations from other brands or creators.
* Creating new content. You’ll work with our Content Producer to create content for social channels. The ideal candidate must be confident in the kitchen and comfortable cooking on camera as lots of our content involves recipes and serving suggestions.

Key Responsibilities
Social media campaign execution
* Collaborating with the wider marketing team to generate new ideas for organic social content, aligning with the 12-month marketing calendar, seasonal themes, and industry news.
* Take the lead on scheduling organic social media content and ensuring content and captions are optimised for each platform.
* Proofreading social media copy to ensure the content is relevant, written with impeccable grammar, and matches the brand TOV.
* Weekly reporting on channel specific KPIs, sharing your findings and recommendations with the wider marketing team.
Community engagement
* Responding to customer questions and comments across our shared email inbox, reviews platform, and all our social media channels.
* As well as our own accounts, you will be monitoring the platforms for brand mentions from another creator, whether that’s organic or a paid for collaboration, responding to all relevant comments and questions.
* Tracking engagement insights and sharing your findings with the marketing team, including frequently asked questions or comments that we can address in our marketing.
* Engaging with relevant conversations that are happening across our social media platforms, whether that’s the latest trending recipe or organic farming news.
* Nurturing relationships with influencers and creators that we work with, as well as creating a list of accounts that align with our core content verticals and might be a good fit for influencer partnerships (food + recipes, wellbeing, organic farming).
Recipe content creation
* Helping to plan and produce new recipe content for our social channels, working closely with our in-house Content Producer. This will include hands-on cooking and being on camera.
* Making suggestions to optimise our video content for each social media channel.
* Trends & industry news monitoring
* Weekly review of social media trends and industry news, with a particular focus on ingredients, recipes, organic farming and nutrition.

Requirements
* Proven track record in organic social media, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
* Impeccable grammar, proofreading and an ability to adapt your writing style to the brand TOV.
* Experience with social media scheduling, monitoring and reporting.
* Confident in the kitchen and cooking on camera.
* Commercially minded and able to articulate social media findings.
* Passionate about food, farming, wellbeing and cooking from scratch.
* Highly organised self-starter who is prepared to take initiative and work on multiple projects at once.
* A desire to grow into a strategic social media role.
