We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join our team based either in our Chineham, Basingstoke Office, or on a fully remote basis, on a Full Time 12 Month Maternity Cover Contract. What’s the Opportunity?
As Talent Analyst on a 12 Month Maternity Cover Contract, you will be responsible for the data collation and analysis of the mid-year and end of year performance review cycle, creating clear charts and data visualisations to build visibility of performance achievements across the Gist network.
Collaborating closely with the People Data & Insight Manager and Senior Talent & Development Manager to identify performance distribution across the network, whilst building insights for talent and succession planning opportunities for our people.
You will play a part in analysing data to support and facilitate internal moves, partnering with L&D to strengthen development pathways, ensuring the company's talent processes and reporting are of the highest quality.
Salary: Up to £40K p/a (DOE)
Hours: 37.5 hours Per Week
Working pattern: Mon - Fri
What you’ll do:
* Lead the collation and analysis of our mid-year and end of year Performance Development Review cycle
* Collate, cleanse, analyse and report on all performance data to create an overall view of performance distribution and achievements for our people here at Gist
* Create engaging visuals and ‘easy to understand’ performance observations for Senior People Team and Senior Business Leaders whilst working closely with the People Data and Insight Manager
* Responsible for the Talent and Performance review process and calendar
* Providing internal support where needed to People teams across the Gist network to support the development of talent and succession planning
* Building a case for internal talent development, supporting People Managers with cross-business moves and advocating ‘new thinking’ for the development of internal talent
* Support with data collection to inform various reports for a range of audiences including Senior Management Groups and Senior Leadership Teams
* Proactively support in the delivery of Talent Strategy including key projects and measuring their impact and success
* Develop & maintain talent records to enable reporting on talent progression
* Work in conjunction with the People and the Success Factors Team to ensure functionalities and new advancements are utilised and rolled out consistently across the business
* Work to develop and evolve the process for performance and talent analysis reporting and the tools available to Senior Leaders, Managers and key stakeholders.
Who you are:
* Experience in Performance and Talent Management or Human Resources, able to demonstrate previous experience of analysing and understanding performance metrics and talent management processes within an organisation
* CIPD Level 3 or 5 is preferred but not essential
* Creativity and ability to create engaging data visualisations whilst collaborating with key stakeholders at all levels
* Be adaptable in applying and exploring different approaches and techniques to build understanding and engagement in data outputs
* Able to work independently whilst collaborating with a range of key stakeholders across all levels, seeking guidance and feedback where needed
* High level of accuracy & attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships to Senior Leadership level
* Able to bring different data sources together and challenge the credibility of data if and where needed
* Advanced Excel knowledge and confident in use with Microsoft Office programmes
* Be highly organised and able to work to deadlines
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
