About the role/duties:
This role is working directly with the Insolvency Practitioner within in the Darlington office of a national practice, assisting with providing insolvency services to clients. Initially the position is a trainee insolvency administrator position, with the potential for accelerated career progression for the right candidate.
The role will primarily involve undertaking the following:-
* Preparation of statutory paperwork, reports and correspondence to a high standard;
* Completion of case reviews and diary maintenance;
* Assisting with the realisation of assets of insolvent companies;
* Analysing the records of companies;
* Communicating with directors, shareholders, creditors and employees in relation to their queries, concerns and requirements;
* Liaising with solicitors and accountants;
* Reviewing creditor claims and distributing funds;
* Electronic filing of documents with the Court and Companies House;
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns;
* Attending site meetings and assisting with the collection of company records.
Key skills and requirements:
1. Current driving licence and use of vehicle;
2. Willingness to travel, including to site visits and to other offices if required;
3. Good communication skills, both verbal and written;
4. Good IT skills;
5. Good numerical skills;
6. Ability to prioritise workload;
7. Ability to work to deadlines;
8. Attention to detail;
9. GCSE passes in Maths and English of grade C or above (or equivalent);Ability to work independently or within a team.
