Night Senior Care Assistant required for a Dementia care home in Southbourne, Emsworth, PO10 8LB.

If so, then we have an ideal role for you. From providing personal care, supporting residents with meals to spending fun times, engaging, and participating in activities.
As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.
2. Accurate and complete documentation.
3. Monitoring and observing for any health changes.
4. Administering medications and reporting to the management team.
Minimum Requirements:
* NVQ 2 essential and willing to complete level 3.
* Previous experience leading shifts.
* Previous experience administering medication.
* Previous experience working with dementia.
* Be prepared to work alternate weekends.
* Experience of creating/reviewing care plans.
* Knowledge of Mental Capacity Act & DOLS.

We have 1 position available for Full-time Night Shifts (8pm-8am)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Salary: From £13.65 per hour (increment for weekends and overtime)

Required criteria:
* Ability to dispense medication following the service's policies & procedures.
* Previous experience of working in a similar environment.
* Previous experience of working in a similar supervisory role.
* Completed NVQ 2 in Health & Social Care.
* Experience of creating/reviewing care plans.
Desired criteria:
* Supervisory or management qualification.
* Ability to induct and orientate new employees to the job role and service.
* Organise and plan supervision and appraisals for care staff.
* Knowledge of rota planning ensuring adequate staff on duty with correct skill mix and fair allocation of off duty/annual leave.
* Completed NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care.
* Medication training on electronic MAR system.
