Recruitment Consultant - Craft Union - £35k - £40k – 6 Month FTC
Working within our Operator Led recruitment team you’ll join us in our mission to attract & recruit the best talent for our pubs. As a Recruitment Consultant, you'll be the main point of contact for all potential operators. By providing first-class customer service in your quality communication, key support, and advice, we ensure all candidates receive the best possible recruitment experience.
As an expert in recruitment, you’ll work closely with Regional Managers within your area of responsibility, ensuring that the recruitment plan is aligned to the wider company strategy and business needs.
You will be responsible for attracting and assessing the best talent, by providing guidance, support, and insight to the stakeholders you will partner with.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilise the most appropriate internal & external methods to attract self-employed Operators.
2. Developing own networks for sourcing and employer branding building within the industry
3. Offer a creative approach to sourcing great talent for the Recruitment team – focusing on attracting passive candidates to opportunities, talent pooling and building communities.
4. Working with key stakeholders across the business to ensure effective and consistent social media recruiting for their vacancies.
5. Ensure you always have a forward-looking recruitment plan.
6. Partnering and building effective relationships with specific Business Units to fully understand their recruitment requirements and ensure a sustainable pipeline of talent.
7. Ensuring you stay aware of best practice approaches and industry trends within recruitment and direct sourcing.
8. Organise and administer selection processes including any online testing, telephone, and video interviews.
9. Assist with the end-to-end candidate experience to create a positive and engaging proposition for potential partners.
10. Forecasting for future recruitment needs and developing effect talent pipelines for specific areas.
11. Conduct divisional calls and attend monthly meetings with Regional Managers and Business directors providing recruitment updates and insights through engaging presentations.
12. Advising, coaching & influencing regional managers on best practice for attraction, interviews, and assessment
13. Delivery of key projects with the recruitment department or wider business
14. Ensure GDPR and Pubs Code compliance.
Skills - Essential:
15. Recruitment: Passion for recruitment and people is demonstrated in all interactions. Excellent understanding of attraction and sourcing methodologies and best practices and experience of working for an organisation that has a pro-active approach to recruitment.

20. Team player: Participates effectively within the team through fulfilling own role, involving key contributors throughout the business and working collaboratively. Inclusive, approachable and builds rapport easily.
21. Analytical: Has attention to detail and can provide evaluation and recommendations. Ability to make quality decisions based on thorough analysis.
22. Problem Solving: Has a creative approach to problem solving.
Experience and Qualifications:
23. Minimum of 2 years as a recruitment professional
24. Numerical and analytical skills
25. Verbal and written skills to a high standard
26. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to senior/advanced level.
27. Sound knowledge of Hospitality industry.
28. Influencing skills.
The role will require travel, therefore a willingness to travel including overnight stays is essential. Flexible approach in carrying out duties.
