This exciting role within our marketing team is responsible for the development and operation of marketing services in support of recruitment to the university’s diverse portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. You will lead a team of six marketing specialists to deliver plans, campaigns, market research and operational activity in support of recruitment priorities.
You will have the opportunity to support the Marketing Insight and Planning Manager in research relating to course and portfolio development such as market assessments, Enhancement-led Subject Reviews (ELSR) and competitor reviews.
You will play a significant role in student recruitment operations, collaborating with peers across Marketing and Communications to shape the broader activities of the department, and promote understanding of Institutional, school and departmental direction and objectives.
We are looking for an experienced marketer with a strong track record of leading, managing and improving a successful client-focused service in a complex environment.
You will have:
1. Very strong analytical skills and be experienced in market segmentation, data analysis and design of quantitative and qualitative evaluation and reports.
2. Strong communication, with the interpersonal skills to present complex information to a range of audiences, externally and internally, in a clear and compelling way.
3. Experience of proactively leading, managing and improving a successful client-focused service in a complex environment.
4. Extensive end to end knowledge of the marketing function and related processes, including service development, market research, planning, campaigns, digital media and print production, advertising, branding and visual identity, evaluation and reporting.
This is a permanent, full-time (37 hours per week) post. The University operates an agile working policy which allows you to split your time between working in the office (on our Moulsecoomb campus) and at home. The nature of student recruitment operations means some weekend and evening work is required in this post.
