As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting a young learner with additional needs. The child responds well to structured support from an adult who is calm, patient, and compassionate but can also maintain firm boundaries. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Providing one-to-one support tailored to the child's needs.
• Implementing behaviour management strategies to support emotional regulation.
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow the child’s individual learning plan.
• Encouraging engagement and participation in classroom activities.
• Creating a safe and structured learning environment.
