Environmental, Health & Safety DATA Analyst

Location: Hybrid (Bristol office attendance required on occasion)

Our client is looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety Data Analyst to join them on a 12+ month basis.
About the Role:
A key part of the role is to advance the use of software to improve data recording and analytics, as well as developing robust reporting procedures, audit protocols, and conducting compliance audits. The role communicates with a wide range of stakeholders to identify and collect data in line with requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Scope 1, 2 & 3 carbon and energy reporting to meet UK and Enterprise reporting requirements (SECR, ESOS, CRP, UK & EU ETS).
2. Developing and improving data recording processes and data analytics.
3. Implementing robust reporting procedures and audit protocols.
4. Collecting and managing environmental data with the ability to dive deep and create reportable program metrics.
5. Utilizing communication skills to facilitate and lead cross-functional meetings; and communicates with the UK leadership team and wider stakeholders.
6. Generating and approving in-country and EU regulatory reports, and permit applications.
7. Maintaining Environmental, Health and Safety Reporting Metrics.
8. Supporting UK and Global sustainability strategies and UK sustainability council.
9. Supporting wider Environment, Health and Safety team ISO 14001 and 45001 activities such as environmental aspects and impacts, audits, legal register, incident response & investigation, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
10. Managing environmental compliance requirements and identifying risks to ensure regulatory compliance.
11. Managing the United Kingdom/EU regulatory compliance calendar.
12. Ensuring that regulatory tasks are completed per schedule.
13. Interfacing with site programs and organizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. A relevant H&S, environmental, or data-related level 3 qualification or other relevant qualifications that demonstrate a high level of learning.
2. Proficient in the use of Excel and data analytic software.
3. Experience in carbon reporting and/or data analytics.
4. Ability to translate regulatory requirements into written procedures.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
