Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager - Contracts, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Contracts Manager in the day-to-day management of cleaning contracts. You will assist in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining client relationships, and upholding company standards. Key Responsibilities: Contract Support: Assist the Contracts Manager in overseeing and managing cleaning contracts, ensuring service delivery aligns with client expectations. Support in liaising with clients, addressing queries, and maintaining positive relationships. Assist in ensuring operations are managed in line with company standards, policies, and procedures. Support in maintaining efficient and accurate records for quality and cost control. Team Support & Development: Assist in delivering clear communication and motivation to site teams, supporting the achievement of team goals. Support the supervision of cleaning equipment and chemical usage, ensuring safety and efficiency. Assist in recruitment, induction training, and ongoing staff development. Support the identification of training needs and assist in maintaining accurate site records. Health & Safety & Compliance: Assist in ensuring all team members adhere to the Company's Health and Safety Policy, COSHH, cleaning methods, and Site-Specific Procedures. Assist in conducting regular cleaning audits and supporting the resolution of identified issues. Service Enhancement & Business Support: Participate in regular team meetings to contribute to service improvement initiatives. Assist in identifying potential new business opportunities and reporting them to the Contracts Manager. Ensure that the Supervisors have appropriate assistance as required. Undertake cleaning tasks as required. Essential Skills & Experience: Experience in a supervisory or support role within the cleaning or facilities management industry. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Working knowledge of cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals. Basic understanding of Health and Safety regulations, including COSHH. Ability to support and motivate a team. Driving Licence is highly desirable. What We Offer: Competitive salary.
