KCR are looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to work for our client based near Morpeth, this is a very varied role which will include mostly finance based work so knowledge of accounts packages is essential. Permanent role - 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday .9-5 Hybrid role, some time working in the office in Northumberland required Reporting to the Office Manager and Managing Director Job Duties: Inputting of supplier invoices and looking after the purchase ledger account Assisting in looking after after the property accounts and coordinating with the property manager VAT Returns for all sites Ensuring Intercompany accounts reconcile each month Assisting with some bank reconciliations Assisting with foreign currency accounts. Assisting with Final Trial balance for year end accounts before sending to accountants. Dealing with HMRC on company matters Assisting with month end balance sheet reports The Person ICB or AAT experience to at least level 2 level 3 preferredAt least 3 years’ experience working in a fast paced environment, with deadlinesAt latest 3 years’ experience working with Quickbooks OnlineCan do attitude Team playerAlthough we work independently our ethos is to look after the team and businesses as a wholeMust be able to deal with potentially stressful situationsExperience working with various computer packagesExperience with microsoft office packagesExperience of working independently
