Main duties of the job
Everyone is different. That's the simple truth at the core of our approach to care. The care opportunities we offer vary, from taking clients to medical appointments or helping them get up in the morning, to spending a full twelve hours helping them through their day. You'll be there to look after that person's unique needs, building a connection with the people you're caring for while handling the physical aspects of the role.

Location: Pocklington
Shift: Tuesday and Sunday 22.00-08.00
As a Sonderwell Complex Care Assistant, you will be responsible for caring for clients with complex needs. You will need to have experience in the following areas:
* Non Verbal
* Minimal Sight
* Nasogastric tube
* Dystonia
* Seizures
* Rescue Medication

Supporting you
Being a Sonderwell carer isn’t just about caring; it’s about being good with people, too. If you have a caring personality and relevant experience, we’ll provide access to online and classroom training in specific complex care needs, as well as the chance to study for a relevant NVQ. You may work on your own or as part of a team, and you’ll have the chance to meet your client and their family before starting. Day-to-day support will be available from a Care Co-ordinator or Nurse Manager.
