The Client
My client is a multi-disciplinary contractor based in Milton Keynes with approximately 80 employees and turnover in excess of £20M.
They have a nationwide client base including Public Sector contracts and corporate businesses, Tier 1 contractors, FM providers and a focus on logistics and distribution centres.
They are focused on capturing the growth that is being driven by the market trends for repair and refurbishment and regulatory pressure to maintain compliance and improve the energy efficiency of the UK’s existing commercial building stock.
They are implementing a people centric strategic growth plan focusing on developing a collaborative and inclusive culture, improving their quality processes and systems, employee and customer satisfaction and driving consistent and compliant services resulting in sustainable profitable growth.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballasts, Emergency lighting)
2. Emergency light testing
3. Small works – new sockets, new lights, new circuits
4. Assisting in general maintenance on our sites
5. Any reactive and planned maintenance on our sites
Requirements
1. Electrically qualified
2. City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 essential
3. City & Guilds - 18th Edition BS7671
4. ECS gold card but not essential
5. A proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
6. Electrical Installation experience
7. Excellent customer service skills
8. Honest, hard-working, and reliable.
Package
1. Basic Salary of £32,000 to £39,000 DOE + Overtime
2. Travel Time
3. Monday to Friday 08.00 – 17.00 (40 hours a week)
4. 22 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays
5. Company Vehicle + Fuel Card - Private Use available
6. Full company uniform

9. Death in service insurance – After 6-month probation period
