A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a supportive team at a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) located in Knowsley, Merseyside. The PRU offers a nurturing environment for students from Years 1 to 11, providing tailored educational experiences to support students who face challenges in mainstream education due to medical, social, emotional, or behavioural needs. About the Role: We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher with a specialism in Food and the capability to teach Key Stage 3 Art. As part of our team, you will: Deliver engaging, personalised Food and Art lessons designed to inspire students and foster resilience and confidence. Support students’ learning through a flexible curriculum, working with them to make significant progress from their individual starting points. Act as a role model for positive behaviour, maintaining high standards and promoting inclusion, respect, and acceptance of all students. Serve as a form tutor, providing essential pastoral care, guidance, and support. Establish and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries to create a safe, encouraging learning environment. Deliver and assess relevant KS4 qualifications to ensure students are well-prepared for their next steps. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
